- 2 lb ground beef
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 15 oz can tomatoes
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 4 oz can green chilies
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 avocado, cubed
How Do You Make Chili In a Crockpot ?
In a large pot, add oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent.
Next, add the ground beef and cook until browned, Move the mixture in a Crockpot.
Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, chilis and seasonings.
Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for 7 hours.
Add ¼ cup water if you’d like your chili with more liquid.
Serve warm with cheese and avocados.
